Hi, how are you?
I've never written this blog for few months... I decide now that I'll continue this blog.

I became a junior in this spring. I take a seminar in American Literature. I start new part-time job. Spring is the start season. I like this season because I can meet many people I have never met. I like meeting people, so this season is the best for me. I wanna make friends with many people. See you!

Movies I Wanna Watch

I want to watch this movie, MAMMA MIA! How about you?

The movie is about a mom and her daughter's story. The movie will come January 31. This is a famous musical in the world. When I was in MN, I saw this movi's poster. Then I wanted to watch, so this time, I'm happy that the movie will play in Japan. I'll watch it with my friends. I'm very looking forward to watching it!

Next, I want to watch The Curious Case Of BENJAMIN BUTTON. F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote it. I didn't know a thing he wrote it. I have ever read his book, The Great Gatsby. His book is interesting, so I'll read this book before I watch the movie.
This movie is strange story because a man was born as an old man, and he becomes more young when the time passes. And he fall in love with one woman.

I'm really interested in these movies. I think I'll be busy in my spring vacation because there are many movies I must watch. I want to watch these sooner!

The 4400

Recently, I'm watching a TV show, THE 4400. Have you ever watched? Thi is SF drama. People who are missing in US appear suddenly. A number of people is 4400. They appear with something flash. And they don't have memories for their missing. But they come back with strange power...

A girl who is center on a picture was lost about 50 years ago. Although she doesn't have memory for her missing, she came back with a power that can see feature. I watched only season 1. I think she has a key that can prove this mystery. When I'm watching it, my heart is beating very fast because it's so mysterious story.

Recently, I'm very interested in American dramas. They are so interesting, but they are very loooong stories. I rent these from a DVD rental shop, so it casts higly... But I can't stop watching these. I'll watch THE 4400 season 2!

Horrible Dog, May!!

Can you see this horrible dog!? In days, she is always cute, but when night coming.... she became a horrible dog!! Oh, no~

Actually, she is not real horrible dog, she is just sleeping with her eyes opening. She rolls about a lot in her sleep. And she is always snoring, and more she says in her sleep sometimes.

She is really a crazy dog, isn't it? But it's one of reasons why I like her. She is really a tomboy :D

Baked Sweet Potato

Do you know what she is doing?
Actually, she is watching a sweet potato are baking. For so loooong time.
At my home, we beke sweet potatoes on an oil heater. The sweet potatoes become delicious on it. The heater makes a room be warm, and make sweet potatoes be delicious. It's truly a case of killing two birds with one stone!

But to May, baking potatoes is important thing because she really loves it!!
So when we are baking sweet potatoes, she can't move away from it. She is just seeing it. See, see, see, see, see.... and finally, she can eat it! Yeah :) I think she loves winter because she can eat them!

Don't Look Back In Anger

I'll write about my favorite song, Don't Look Back In Anger.
Do you know the song? OASIS sings the song. When I was a junior high, I first listened the song. At then, I didn't understand English, and more, I had never listened foreign music. However, this song was an impressive song for me. I don't know why, but this melody has sad something and warm something. And his voice also give people such feelings.

It was why I like them. And since then, I came to listen their songs very much. Now I like their songs, but Don't Look Back In Anger will keep on be my favorite song, I think.

They will come to Japan shortly, and they'll hold a concert. I want to go there, but thickets were sold out.... I'm very sad. I'm looking forward to seeing them on TV.

Recently, I'm reading P.S. I Love You.

Do you know the book? This book adapted for a movie. Although I wanted to watch the movie, I couldn't do. So recently, I'm reading the book.

This book is moving story. This is about a couple's story. They lived together happily, but the husband was dead because of ill. A wife without her husband lost faith in life. One day, a letter was send by someone, it was lists that she must do. Actually it was from her husband who died.

This story tells people how strong love is. I was impressed by their love. The late husband gave the wife many important things. And she overcame her big sadness.

I think that losting valuable people is the biggest sadness for people. But someday, the day will come. It's sure. I can't tell how people feel at the time because it's complex.

When I'm reading the book, I think about it. Anyway, it's nice book. Please read it!

KOTATSU

Can you see this dog, May?
She is sleeping at kotatsu. Kotatsu is Japanese table that people use it in winter. This makes people warm and happy :)
I like kotatsu, and like eating an orange at the kotatsu. Japanese often eat an orange when they sit at the table. I don't know why. If you are in kotatsu, you may eat an orange!!

Anyway, May, she also like kotatsu. She always sleep in the kotatsu. And more, when she feels hot, she puts her head out of the kotatsu like man. And when she sleep at my bed, she always do so. She looks like man,,,, She thinks that she is a human, I think :D Also now, she is sleeping like this photo. She is so cute!

Spring Vacation Plan

From last Wednesday, semester test started lol
I don't like test...
But after test, spring vacation will start :) So I'll do my best on the test to spent nice vacation. I have some plans in spring vacation. Few days ago, I talked with my friend about travel. We want to travel to Aso (Kumamoto) or Ohita. Then we just talked about our hapes, we didn't decide detail plan. But I'm sure that we'll travel somewhere. I'm very looking forward to visiting many places ;D
And more, I'll enter a driving school. Actually I don't have driver license now, it's a inconvinience to me. So I'll get it in spring vacation!

Tomorrow, I'll take French test... it's hard to me because French is sooooo difficult!!
I must study sooner, see you :)

FLY AWAY HOME

I read this book, FLY AWAY HOME as book review.

Have you ever read the book, or watched a movie? I had neither read nor watched the story.

This is a story about a girl and sixteen geese. Girl's name is Amy, and she lives in Canada with her dad because her mom was dead. She didn't like her dad, Tom because she thought he was crazy. He always made crazy machine, and he hadn't taken care his family before his wife died.

One day, Amy found geese eggs that lost their parents. So Amy brought to her home, and had them hatched. During she bought up them, she came to open up to him. However, one problem happened. It's geese! Canada winter is so cold, so birds must fly to south. These geese had no a mother nor a father, so they didn't know where they must fly to... And Amy, Tom and Tom's friend had a awesome idea.

This book is moving story. Amy seems to have matured through the geese. The geese taught her what important is. After reading it, I think animal teach human important things. They have eyes that human don't have. The eyes can see different world from human, I think.

When I went to Minnesota, I usually saw geese. I don't know if the geese are Canadian geese, but hey are so cute, and always stayed with friends and family. They always form group. I think they have strong friendship each other. Flying away to south will make geese be tired very much. If they don't have strong friendship, they will not fly. The friendship is so cool, I think.

I'll watch this movie next time. It's nice book as a last book review.

Esio Trot

I read a book, Esio Trot. Have you ever read it? Roald Dahl wrote it.

I'll write about this story a little bit. This is about Mr. Hoppy's love story, but it's not just a love story. This is a strange love story. Mr. Hoppy is love with Mrs. Silver, but her all of attentions focused on Alfie which is a Mrs. Silver's pet. To get her attention, he makes Alfie bigger with a brilliant idea.

When I saw the cover of the book first, I wonder what mean the title, Esio Trot had. Esio Trot is a tortoise language. Do you notice? You can read "Tortoise" from the title. It's written backwords! So if you read from last, you'll read. The witty title is so funny.

Mr. Hoppy collects many tortoises to get Mrs. Silver's attention, and he use these, after all, he makes Alfie bigger. He changes Alfie for an another bigger tortoise!! It's a very strange story, but it's funny and a cute story, I think. 

The distance between their balconies might not have been more than a few yards, but to Mr. Hoppy it seemed like a million miles.

This sentence is from the book. He is too shy to tell Mrs. Silver his mind. Changing tortoises is big work to him. I like his love for Mrs. Silver, and I like his love story, Esio Trot.

The Cotswolds is a range in England. A fertile natural environment has been in the range. Also many old houses colored honey are been keeping with pretty nature. The Cotswolds is so pretty range as if it appears in fairy tales.

Helen Beatrix Potter who wrote The Tale of Peter Rabbit was born and grew up in the Cotswolds. She wrote stories that animals appear with much nature. She loved the nature and animals living in such environment in the Cotswolds. From her stories, people can see how pretty the Cotswolds is, and how she loves the Cotswolds is.

The Cotswolds are popular as sightseeing because tranquil time is flowing there. Something that people can’t feel in city is in the Cotswolds, I think. The Cotswolds is special range for people.

My Best Friends

I met my friends who are since my elementary days.
At first, we went to a karaoke. We were same elementary school students, and we used to play together. Now, one of the friends is living in Okayama. She is a collage student, and the other one is also a collage student. We are each different collage students, so we can't meet only few times in a year. So today was so happy day because we could meet and talk a lot!

After karaoke, we went to a Joyfull that is popular fast food restaurant in Japan. We ate and talked. On January 11th, Seijinshiki will hold in a city we live in. Seijinshiki is Japanese traditional culture. When people become 20 years old, they are celebrated. And at each cities, Seijinshiki are held. At there, people can meet their friends in childhood. Almost girls wear furisode that is a kind of kimono. At Joyfull, we talked about our Seijinshiki a lot. We will attend an alumni after Seijinshiki. We are looking forward to meeting old friends.

After long talking, we drove in midnight. It was so cold and dark, but we enjoyed our driving. During drivimg, we saw a ferris wheel in an amusement park. It's so pretty, isn't it?? :) In the night, there were no stars, so we were little bit sad. However, we were glad to see the pretty ferris wheel. It was nice driving.

The day was so awesome day!

ELIZABETHTOWN

I watched a movie whose name is ELIZABETHTOWN. In the movie, Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst played. It's awesome movie, I think.

Orlando was in a big sadness. He lost his dad, his job, his girl friend, and he tried suicide. He was really tired his life. To dad's funeral, he went to one small town, Elizabethtown in Kentuckey. On the way, he met a woman who had positive way of thinking. It's Kirsten Dunst. She is a really pretty and active woman. She jokingly told such sadly him, and handed her telephon number. During telephone, they talked about many things, and they met again. They talked face to face without sad things.

In the movie, she who had really positive way of thinking encouraged him who was in the biggest sadness. At one scene, she told such a thing to him when he was in very very big sadness.

You have five minuites to wallow in the delicious missey.

Enjoy it, embrace it, discard it... and proceed.

She thought that sadness was easier because it's surrender. She said, makes time to dance alone with one hand wavimg free if you were in sadness. When I heard her words, I was inspired. Sadness comes everyone. If it coming, what should I think and how should I act, is important, I think. In the movie, he noticed it, and he overcame his sadness.

As she telling, it's easy to wallow in sadness for long time. However, a life is just one time. Then it's the best way of life that living without negative way of thinking.

If you are in sadness, please watch this movie. It's sure that you'll become fine.

SMILE

I watched this movie, SMILE. The movie is Japanese one, and a Japanese actor, Mirai Moriyama plays in the movie. He is my favorite Japanese actor.

The story is set in Hokkaido, the north of Japan. In there, Mirai who hadn't never experienced ice hockey became a ice hockey manager to marry with his girl friend. He couldn't play ice hockey, so he managed the children ice hockey by tap dance. Actually, he was good at tap dance. At first, children didn't obey him, but they gradually came to friendly.

In the movie, Mirai showed his tap dance. He can various dance. Also, his acting is good. He is an actor who has a very clear-cut personality. I like such him.

The movie is interesting and moving movie. I think you came to like it if you watch it!

Today is December 25.
So... Merry Christmas!!

How about your Christmas? Do you eat any Christmas cake?
I like the day because my heart becomes warm. When I was a child, I was very looking forward to coming Christmas. Of course, now, too. Christmas dinner makes me happy. Christmas cake makes me happy. Christmas song make me happy, so what I want to tell the most thing is that I like all of Christmas :)

Happy Birthday to the other YOHKO!!

Today is my friend, Yohko's birthday! Happy birthday :)
We met when we were high school students. Now, we are studying in same major, English.

Yesterday, in after school, we held her birthday party. Six friends who major English came the party. We took dinner. After dinner, a waiter brought a birthday cake!! It was our surprise :D Yohko didn't know coming the birthday cake, so she was surprised very much! Our plan was successed ;)

She is our nice friends. I'm glad to celebrate her birthday with good friends.

Miss Potter

I watched a movie, Miss Potter. Have you ever watched it?

Even if you have never watched the movie, you might have seen this picture, isn't it?

Miss Potter wrote the picture, Peter Rabbit. This movie describe her life. Renée Zellweger and Ewan McGregor played in the movie.

During I was watching the movie, I was carried away by her life. Her life was as if a fairy tale.

She successed as a picture book writer. And she met a man she loved. But she experienced his dead... And, she continued writing picture books.

I became happy while I was watching the movie. A way of her life is a fairy tale that she wrote, I think. I like pictures she wrote because these have warm something. My heart become warm. Also, she has warm something. Her life is beautiful.
