The Cotswolds is a range in England. A fertile natural environment has been in the range. Also many old houses colored honey are been keeping with pretty nature. The Cotswolds is so pretty range as if it appears in fairy tales.

Helen Beatrix Potter who wrote The Tale of Peter Rabbit was born and grew up in the Cotswolds. She wrote stories that animals appear with much nature. She loved the nature and animals living in such environment in the Cotswolds. From her stories, people can see how pretty the Cotswolds is, and how she loves the Cotswolds is.

The Cotswolds are popular as sightseeing because tranquil time is flowing there. Something that people can’t feel in city is in the Cotswolds, I think. The Cotswolds is special range for people.

My Best Friends

I met my friends who are since my elementary days.
At first, we went to a karaoke. We were same elementary school students, and we used to play together. Now, one of the friends is living in Okayama. She is a collage student, and the other one is also a collage student. We are each different collage students, so we can't meet only few times in a year. So today was so happy day because we could meet and talk a lot!

After karaoke, we went to a Joyfull that is popular fast food restaurant in Japan. We ate and talked. On January 11th, Seijinshiki will hold in a city we live in. Seijinshiki is Japanese traditional culture. When people become 20 years old, they are celebrated. And at each cities, Seijinshiki are held. At there, people can meet their friends in childhood. Almost girls wear furisode that is a kind of kimono. At Joyfull, we talked about our Seijinshiki a lot. We will attend an alumni after Seijinshiki. We are looking forward to meeting old friends.

After long talking, we drove in midnight. It was so cold and dark, but we enjoyed our driving. During drivimg, we saw a ferris wheel in an amusement park. It's so pretty, isn't it?? :) In the night, there were no stars, so we were little bit sad. However, we were glad to see the pretty ferris wheel. It was nice driving.

The day was so awesome day!

ELIZABETHTOWN

I watched a movie whose name is ELIZABETHTOWN. In the movie, Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst played. It's awesome movie, I think.

Orlando was in a big sadness. He lost his dad, his job, his girl friend, and he tried suicide. He was really tired his life. To dad's funeral, he went to one small town, Elizabethtown in Kentuckey. On the way, he met a woman who had positive way of thinking. It's Kirsten Dunst. She is a really pretty and active woman. She jokingly told such sadly him, and handed her telephon number. During telephone, they talked about many things, and they met again. They talked face to face without sad things.

In the movie, she who had really positive way of thinking encouraged him who was in the biggest sadness. At one scene, she told such a thing to him when he was in very very big sadness.

You have five minuites to wallow in the delicious missey.

Enjoy it, embrace it, discard it... and proceed.

She thought that sadness was easier because it's surrender. She said, makes time to dance alone with one hand wavimg free if you were in sadness. When I heard her words, I was inspired. Sadness comes everyone. If it coming, what should I think and how should I act, is important, I think. In the movie, he noticed it, and he overcame his sadness.

As she telling, it's easy to wallow in sadness for long time. However, a life is just one time. Then it's the best way of life that living without negative way of thinking.

If you are in sadness, please watch this movie. It's sure that you'll become fine.

SMILE

I watched this movie, SMILE. The movie is Japanese one, and a Japanese actor, Mirai Moriyama plays in the movie. He is my favorite Japanese actor.

The story is set in Hokkaido, the north of Japan. In there, Mirai who hadn't never experienced ice hockey became a ice hockey manager to marry with his girl friend. He couldn't play ice hockey, so he managed the children ice hockey by tap dance. Actually, he was good at tap dance. At first, children didn't obey him, but they gradually came to friendly.

In the movie, Mirai showed his tap dance. He can various dance. Also, his acting is good. He is an actor who has a very clear-cut personality. I like such him.

The movie is interesting and moving movie. I think you came to like it if you watch it!

Today is December 25.
So... Merry Christmas!!

I like the day because my heart becomes warm. When I was a child, I was very looking forward to coming Christmas. Of course, now, too. Christmas dinner makes me happy. Christmas cake makes me happy. Today is my friend, Yohko's birthday! Happy birthday :)
We met when we were high school students. Now, we are studying in same major, English.

Yesterday, in after school, we held her birthday party. Six friends who major English came the party. We took dinner. After dinner, a waiter brought a birthday cake!! It was our surprise :D Yohko didn't know coming the birthday cake, so she was surprised very much! Our plan was successed ;)

She is our nice friends. I'm glad to celebrate her birthday with good friends.

I watched a movie, Miss Potter. Have you ever watched it?

During I was watching the movie, I was carried away by her life. Her life was as if a fairy tale.

She successed as a picture book writer. And she met a man she loved. But she experienced his dead... And, she continued writing picture books.

I became happy while I was watching the movie. A way of her life is a fairy tale that she wrote, I think. I like pictures she wrote because these have warm something. My heart become warm. Also, she has warm something. Her life is beautiful.

Winter Vacation

I'm busy recently because I have many homework! I must hand in these next week, so I'll be in home weekends.

A winter vacation is coming soon. I'll work very much because there are many parties in the end and start of the year. I'll be busy, but I like my part time job, so it's okay. I read this book, The Magic Finger. Do you know this story?

Roald Dahl wrote the book. I had read his books and watched movies, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I like these story, so I wanted to read The Magic Finger, this time.

It was funny story, but I considered about life.

A girl had a magic fenger, and she used it to her friends who like hunting. He went to hanting with his brother and his father. The girl didn't like hunting, so she told them stop it. But they didn't listen her saying. After getting angry, she uses magic finger to his family. Then, they became ducks, and ducks became human...

This book is for children, but I think anyone including old man, adult, young people can read pleasantly. This book can tell people how important life is. Of course, this is funny story.

I like Roald Dahl's book. His books are unique stories. Charlie and the chocolate factory was my first book I had read in his book. This story is funny story, but some times, the book tells people what is important. For example, friendship, familyship and so on. Tim Barton who is my favorite director made movies from his books. These are also nice movies!

I'll read more his books.

Baba Yaga The Flying Witch

I read this book, Baba Yaga The Flying Witch. Have you ever read it?

Today, I took writing class. And in the class, I borrowed this book from my teacher. Thank you :)
This story is interesting, but it's little strange story. Can you see its cover? This witch's name is Baba Yaga. She is a bad witch, and she always moves by her pot with wooden spoon and wooden broom. In the class, I could choose in many books. Then I chose this book because this witch's illustration was so funny.

Of course, this story is also little bit strange. She was going to eat a girl, Tasha, but she couldn't eat... Because her dog and cat betrayed her! When Tasha was shut in her hut, Tasha fed food to her dog and cat, and they helped Tasha :)

BUT!! Baba Yaga was still running after Tasha! When Tasha fed to a dog and a cat, they gave her a mirror and a comb. These could help her!! While she was running, morror became the wide river, and the comb became a big mountain. When I was reading, I thought she could help for them. But it wasn't correct. The witch drunk much water, and tried to eat the mountain! ...But her teeth made iron were rusty from drinking the wide river, so her iron teeth snapped!! It means Tasha's win :) Tasha lived with her dad happily ever after.

I like this story. It's funny story. If you're interested in the story, please read it.

Winter

I like a season, winter very much. Now it's very cold, but I'm okay. I like winter the best in seasons because I can have fun in the season.

When it's cold, I can eat many hot foods. You know, I like eating! So in this season, I often eat delicious hot foods :) There are another reasons why I like winter. Winter has many happy days, for example, Christmas, Happy New Year's Day and Seijinshiki. In Japan, when people become 20 years old, they are celebrated and attend Seijinshiki. Seijinshiki is like a celebration. I can meet many old friends at the celebration. Many old friends are living in places far from their hometowns. So Seijinshiki is a chance to meet them. I'm looking forward to seeing them.

In the winter, I can meet many friends, this is a reason why I like winter.

Do you like chocolate? I like it very much! When I entered KGU, I used to eat it every day. You know that chocolate is so yummy, but it makes people be fat. As this fact, I gained my weight when I ate. So I stopped to eat it very much, but recently, I often it very much! I don't know why. Recently, winter is coming, so it's very cold. I often drink something hot, and I come to want something sweet. I think it's a reason that I eat chocolate. I ate it again this morning. I know it makes me be fat, but it's yummy~. I can't stop to eat it!

Anyway, my computer is wrong, now. So I can't use it! I'm in a fix because I can't do my homework. I have many reports I must finish early.

Tales from Hans Anderson

I read this book, Tales from Hans Andersen. Have you read the book?
I had never read the book, I knew these stories. I think you, too.

The Ugly Ducking, The Nightingale, The Little Marmaid, The Emperor's New Clothes, Thumbelina are compiled in the book. I think you know some stories. I also knew some stories, but I didn't know some. So this time, I read the stories I hadn't known.

In these stories, I'll write about The Nightingale. Do you know the story? Nightingale is a name of kind of bird. This nightingale lived in woods. The woods were king's. The nightingale's voice was pretty, and everyone liked her sound. Of course, king, too. The nightingale often sang in the woods in day, but she must came to woods in night because her home was in woods.
One day, somebody brought king a beautiful nightingale made wood. It sang beautifully and king could listen all day and night, so king didn't call the nightingale lived in woods. Then long time after, king became ill, and he would die soon. Finally he wanted to listen nightingale's song, and he called her. Then she appeared and sang. After listening her song, king wanted to give some presents to her, but she didn't want it. Because when king first listened her song, he cried happily, nightingale was so happy that he was impressed her song. For nightingale, it was nice present. After hearing it, king died.

I became to like the story. The story has warm something. I want to listen such nightingale's song. If I listen it, I'll be happy.
Making people be happy is difficult and good thing. I can understand both nightingale and king minds. NIghtingale must had been very happy when king was impressed. And king was so happy to listen her song. I think there is a friendship between king and nightingale. It was so strong, I think. I want my children when I become a mom to know this story.

The Bluest Eye

Recently, I'm reading this book, "The Bluest Eye". Do you know the book? Toni Morrison wrote the book.

I have American Literature Class. In the class, reading three American literature is our homework. So I'm reading it, but I think this is my chance to read books. Actually, I didn't read any books recently, so this homework is a chance to read books.

At first, I began to read the book for my homework, but now, I'm reading it without an obligation to do my homework. This story is about a girl who is an African-American. This is not too old story, but in the time, many African-American couldn't work, study, make friends and live as White people do. There were racial discrimination very much. This story was in such a society.

A girl who was younger than me had became pregnant. Her dad had got her pregnant. When I knew this truth, I couldn't believe it. Why? You're her dad? I thought.

I have another American Literature Class. In the class, I watched a movie, Color Purple. This movie also describes African-American and pregnancy like The Bluest Eye.

Teacher said that it was issue in the time, but I couldn't believe that. It was strange, I thought. However as I study American literature, I became understand it. I know that I can't understand very well yet, but I think history of descrimination made this society.

I haven't finished reading the book yet. In the book, I often can't believe many truthes because these are so cruel, but I'll keep reading it. I hope that people know truths, and no more such things will happen.

The Party of Six People

Last Saturday, the day was my friend, Kanami's birthday! Happy birthday, Kanami :) She is nice girl. She is cute, funny and... small. (I'm sorry, Kanami~) Anyway I like her! Happy birthday to Kanami.

On the day, my friend held Kanami and my birthday party! Yeah!! Six friends came to the party. Actually, more two friends were going to participate the party, but they had something else to do, so they couldn't come. I want to enjoy with them next time.

We went to karaoke. We sang songs, and my friends prepared a big cake! Then they sang "Happy Birthday To You" for us!! We were so happy, and the cake was yummy.

After karaoke, we went to a restaurant, and we ate shabu-shabu. It was also yummy. We ate very much and talked about many things. We have known since we entered KGU. At first, we have never known each other. (Although I had known some people) Some people became friend, then they became friend's friend. And we became good friends! They are so nice people. If you meet them, you'll like them! Thank you, my friends~

She has been working as a actress since she was 3 years old. So have you ever watched a movie, Jumanji? She played a role of older sister when she was 13 years old. I like Johnny Depp. He has played in a lot of movies, for example, Edward Scissorhands, Benny and Joon, Sleepy Hollow, Pirates Of The Caribbean and so on. He is a famous actor, but actually, he was a singer when he was young. Then he became a nice actor. He plays many kinds of roles as if they are different men. His acting is so unique, so I like him. And more, he is a good dad because he loves his children very much. I like people like him who can act individually, and is a good dad!

I like Audrey Tautou. She is a French actress. She has played in the movies, Amelie, Long Engagement, The Da Vinci Code and so on. When I first watched Amelie, I came to like her and her movies. I like her role, Amelie in the movie. Of course, I do like her because I think only she can play the role. She is a nice actress. If you watch her movie, you'll understand it!

I often watch this TV show every Monday. This time, one of my favorite model, Anne appeared on the TV show. She talked about a story how to study her English. She is active in the world as a model. She often visits Paris and US to audition. She needs to speak English there. So she is studying English very hard by a unique way to study .

I like her because she has a strong mind. She has only her think. I respect her as a woman. Although she likes English, she also likes Japan. She studies not only English but also old Japanese. She thinks that Japanese must read old Japanese, so now she is studying old Japanese, too. She is beautiful and so cool, and more, she can cook very much. I often read a magazine that she appeares on. On the magazine, I can see her cherm. She is cool as a Japanese and worldly model.

At the night, I could see her on the TV show. I want to be a woman who is cool and have my charm like Anne.

Two days ago, I became 20 years old! A lot of friends celebrated my birthday. And tomorrow, 15th is my friend, Kanami's birthday. So our friends are going to held our birthday party tomorrow. Yeah! I'm a really happy girl because many people celebrated my birthday :D I like my friends very much, they are so kind and very funny. When I'm in sadness, my friends hear my sad story, and when I'm happy, my friends can joy with me! Friends are my treasure in my life.
Then, my family is also my treasure. On my birthday, my family celebrated my birthday. We ate sushi and birthday cake! It was so yummy. Thank you, my family and my friends.

Japanese Test

I'll take a Japanese test on Sunday. Do you know the test?

I'm taking a Japanese class. You know, I'm a Japanese. But why am I studying Japanese?? Teacher teaches us hard Japanese in the class. For example, we study about complex pronunciation, language's history and so on. If you speak or study Japanese, you know that Japanese is too hard to use it. Japanese has many proverbs, language for respect person. It's too hard to use the right word in the right place for even Japanese. Of course, me, too.

So this time, I'm studying right Japanese to speak it. But I think I'll not use these hard Japanese in my life because most Japanese can speak Japanese fluently!

I want to pass the test, so I must study more hard tomorrow.

MOBY DICK

I read MOBY DICK. Do you know the book?
I take American Literature class, and I learn about MOBY DICK in the class. MOBY DICK is very famous book in American literature. This is about whalers and a white whale, MOBY DICK's story.

Captain Ahab was a captain of a whaing ship. He lost his leg because a huge white whale, MOBY DICK ate it. Captain Ahab hated him, so he was always looking for him, and he wanted to kill him.

Ishmael was a young sailer, and he became a whaler on Ahab's ship. But he didn't know the ship's dangerous and sad future...

MOBY DICK is an adventurous story. A teacher who teaches us American literature said that MOBY DICK described America. Now, after reading it, I can understand this meaning. Only men appear in the book. There is no love, there is just adventure. There is men's dreams.

This book is so exciting story. I like this story. Please read it!
I want to read it in Japanese, and I want to watch its movie :D

School Festival

I was soooo tired recently because a school festival was held for three days. Although it was hard, I enjoyed very much!
I'm joining in Culutual Assets Club, and we sold Oden. On first day, it was rainy, so it was very cold. Oden is hot, so people bought it very much. But the other two days weren't cold, so Oden weren't sold very well..., but I enjoyed selling these, and it was so yummy. Thank you, my friends who made these!

After the school festival, we enjoyed kohya-sai. Kohya-sai holds after the school festival every year, we pours soda or beer each other there. I also joined it, I enjoyed :D

Junior retires at the school festival. I like my junior friends, so I'm very sad. And I'm worrying if we bring my club together... But junior friends said that they'll come my club often, and they'll help us. So now, I'm not worrying about it.

At the festival, I noticed again that I like club member. I like my junior friends.

Dream Girls

The other day, I watched a movie, Dream Girls. Have you ever watched it?

I wanted to watch the movie for long time. But I had no any chances. And finally, I could watch it!

The movie is about three woman singers, Dream Girls. The movie is backed US from '60 through '70. In the time, black music was spreading in white people.

DreamGirls are African-Americans, and their music lives are shown on the movie. In the movie, demanding music lives are described.

When I watched the movie, I was noticed woman's power. I thought they were strong, pretty and cool!!

When people are in trouble and sadness, music give people something power. Music can help us. If you watch the movie, the movie and the music give you something important things.

Minnesota

I'm talking about my favorite place, Minnesota.

Lunch

Today I woke up very early time, at 6 o'clock because I made lunch for me and my older sister.

I have two reasons for making lunches. One, I have no money! I started my part-time job recently, so I have no money now. And second reason, my mom was on night duty. Everyday, my mom makes family's lunch. Thank you, my mom :) She makes family's lunch even she must wake up 5 o'clock to work. I have respect for her. When I become a mom, I'll make lunch for my family. But I want my husband to make dinner! Haha :D My parents work, so they are busy. But my family help each other. My dad usually wash our dishes, I and my older sister help them .... sometimes. I'm sorry, my mom and dad. But my family is friendly, so that's OK.

Anyway, weekend is gonna start from tomorrow! I'll work tomorrow. And on Sunday, I'll go Chara's show.

Dracula

I read this book, Dracula. This cover is soooooooooooo scary! But I wanted to read it because I didn't know this story very well.
Before I read the book, I had thought Dracula meaned vampire. But it's not true. Dracula is a man's name.

Count Dracula is a vampire in Transylvania. And a man whose name is Jonathan Harker went to him for his business. He didn't know Dracula was a vampire.

But after few days, he noticed his true character... so he tried escape. But Count Dracula went to London, and he sucked woman's blood, then she died. She was a friend of Jonathan. Jonathan, her boyfriend and Van Helsing who was a professor tried to kill Count Dracula.

This is Dracula's story. It was so scary story. But it was little bit exciting. And Jonathan was so cool! He fought with Dracula to help his love, Mina. I'm impressed by his strong love. Van Helsing was also cool! Although I have never watched a movie, Dracula, I have ever watched a movie, Van Helsing. On the movie, he was so cool! I hadn't known Van Helsing appeared in the book. So I was surprised, and I became more like him.

Halloween is coming, so I'm little bit scary if he comes to me!!! Don't appear!!!!!!!

I also worked today :) It was little hard. Few days ago, I started to work, so I worked awkwardly :( Every works are study to me. I learn not only work but also an important thing, communication skill! My job needs to talk with people including fellow workers and customers. Today I was in little bit low spirits because my work didn't go smoothly. But I used to my work little by little. Some fellow workers told me many things, although it was hard, I rememberd many things. I'll do my best next time, too!

Any Time

Awesome Day

I enjoyed today :) I like going to a school because I can talk with my friends, and I can study English~ (It's true!) But, of course, the most interesting avtivity in the school is talking with my friends :D I took four classes today, from 2 period through 5 period. It's little bit hard to me, but I enjoyed today. NEW PART -TIME JOB

My part-time job started from today! I'm working at a restaurant in a spa close my home. Today was my first time to work there, so I was nervous little bit, but I enjoyed my first working day :) People who are working there are so nice and friendly. Talking with customers is so interesting because I like talking with people I don't know. So I enjoyed today.
After working, I went shopping to Clair with my sister. We are friendly, so we often go shopping by her car. Today, I bought a knit hat. I love it very much, so I'm very happy to buy it!
We went shopping late, so we're so hungry. On our way to our home, we ate dinner at joyful. We ate very much! It was so yummy :D

Michael Sowa

Do you know Michael Sowa? He is a German painter. If you have watched a movie, Amelie, I think you have seen his paintings. On left picture, there are two paintings, a dog and a duck. These are his paintings, and these are so funny.

A first time I have seen his painting was few years ago. When I was a junior high, I read a book, ちいさなちいさな王様. Have you ever read it? Axel Hacke who is a German wrote the book, and a picture of cover is a Michael's painting. I think, after you saw the book cover, you'll not forget his paintings. His paintings have some power, but I don't know what's power.

When I see his paintings, I can relax. Why I don't know. His paintings lost strength and it's so humor, but sometimes, there are some sadness, darkness and so on there.

I like watching movies. A movie what I want to watch the best is P.S. I LOVE YOU. Do you know the movie? This movie is love story. I like the kind of movie. A woman loses her husband by sick. And she loses faith in life. But on her 30th birthday, a letter is send from her husband who was dead. And a letter tells her something. 

When I saw this commercial, I became to want to watch sooner! 'Ill be impressed if I watch it. The movie will start tomorrow. I want to watch sooner!

And I want to read the book. So I went to the book store, but the book sold out because the book was popular, so a publishing company has no more the book.

Sing, Harlem, Sing!

I went to the show, Sing, Harlem, Sing! yesterday with my old friend. It was awesome!! Since I saw SISTER ACT first time, I like American song :)

In this stage, many singer sang many kind of songs, for example, Gospel, R&B, Jazz, Rock and so on. It was really awesome! It was so powerful, and I was impressed very much.

Vy Higginsen was an amcee at the show. Her MC was so nice. After the show, I talked to her, and I said "Thank you". But actually, I couldn't tell my mind because it's so awesome. I couldn't change my mind to words!Yesterday was soooo exciting day :)

When I came back home, my family was watching this movie, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. My family like watching movies, so we often watch movies together.

Have you ever watched this movie? I have ever watched it in the movie theater with my friend. This is about a toy shop, Mr. Magorium's wonder emporium's story. Dustin Hoffman and Natalie Portman play in the movie.

Mr. Magorium had ran the toy emporium. But he told a subordinate, Molly that he would be die, so he would hand over this shop to her. But this shop is enchanted, and Mr, Magorium is also an enchanter. So this shop had own mind, the shop didn't want him to hand over, then this shop was angry and changed its figure! Then what happened...!? If you want to know its continue, please watch it :)

I like fantsy movie. This is also fantasy movie. It's little bit strange, we can see many things that we can't see in our lives. Not only fantasy movie, all movies give us awesome dream.

Clothing of Pet

I went to shopping at Clair today. In there, I went to the cute shop.

Do you have any pet? I have a dog, dachshund. In Clair, there is a pet clothes shop.

What do you think to have your pet wear clothes? Before I have a pet, I thought that it's crazy to have a pet wear clothes. I didn't like to do like this, I thought that pet also hated it...

But after I started to have my pet, my thinking have changed!! Having a pet wear clothes are so cute :) I know I'm CRAZY. But I wanna have my pet wear clothes. So I tried it sometimes, but you know, my dog didn't like to wear clothes. So she put off soon, and the clothes became her toy. I was shocked little bit...

Winter will come soon, so it'll more cold, soooo she needs clothes!

Crazy Cat

Can you see this cat on the bike? He (I think he is a boy) is living at the station close my house. He is a stray cat, but people are taking care of him because he is very friendly. When I walk up to him, he always mews and snuggles up to me. He is so cute!

I saw him yesterday, and I was very surprised! Because he was sleeping on the bike. He looked be relaxing :) He is very tough. This bike looked as if his one.

Recently, it's chilly every day. So I'm really worring about him. Because the station has no any station staff, so it's very simple building. There are no strong building to protect from the wind and rain. He must live this winter without heating system.

But I have given him some fish. Some people are also feeding him. So I think many people include me will help him. This cat is cute and little bit tough, but he is loveable cat. He is really happy cat.

Charlotte's Web

I watched the movie, Charlotte's Web last night.

Have you ever watched it? This movie is about a pig, a spider and the friend's story. A girl, Farn is a daughter of farmer. One night, 11 piglets were born, but mother's milk were only 10, so one piglet, Wilber were going to be killed by the farmer. But Farn who were watching it stoped her father. And she said that she would bring up him. So she fed and took care of him. Few monthes later, her parents decided to give Wilber to uncle who lived in front of their house because Wilber became big, so they couldn't take care of him in their house. At first, she hated that thing, but she was a child, so she must follow her parent's advice. And Wilber started to life in uncle's pen. In there, many animals lived in. Sheep, two geese, a horse, few oxen, a rat and a spider whose name is Charlotte. This pen had looked dead before Wilber came, and they didn't like Charlot bacause they thought her as spooky and creepy. But Wilber did like her because she was a first feriend after coming there, and she was kind. One day, a rat said Wilber that if Christmas comes, he will be eaten. That's right. Uncle were going to eat him on Christmas. So he was very afraid of coming Christmas. Recently, animals were friendly in the pen. So they thought about how Wilber could see snow in winter that Christmas passed. And Charlotte writed words on her web. They thought these words made uncle not to eat a pig. Charlotte made them few times----

This is about Charlotte's Web story. This is a friendship movie. Wilber and Charlotte were difference kind of animls, of course, other his friends, too. But they worried about Wilber. They helped each other. If I became a mom, I'll have my daughter or son watch the movie. I like watching movies very much because I can see a lot of life ways on another points through movies. This movie can teach us what important friends are.

Assignment 2

In Minnesota, we can see many kinds of animals. Although Minnesota has big cities, nature is very close there. And Minnesota also has many lakes, so Minnesota is called the Land of 10,000 Lakes.  From the many lakes, a folk tale, Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway was born. This legend told people how lakes were born. It's a very interesting story.

MN is full of nature. On the other side, MN has big cities, St. Paul and Minneapolis. These are called twin cities. St. Paul is an older city than Minneapolis. These cities have high buildings and a famous church, Cathedral of Saint Paul. These cities have their histories. These both are pretty and exciting places.

Minnesotan people are called Minnesota Nice.

It means that Minnesotan welcome other racial people kindly. I like Minnesotan because they are so kind and friendly.

In Minnesota, we can enjoy very much. There are full nature, big cities and nice people.

This season, fall, the scenery is so pretty. Leaves are changing color and changing the town. We can enjoy all seasons in Minnesota.

This weekend

I have no plan this weekends. Next monday is holiday, so my weekends has three days. But I have no plan! My part-time job don't start yet, so I have no job this weekends. Actually, I have homework, which is too hard to me. So I must hand out in Tuesday. I think I'll finish it in the weekends. And I'll watch movies in the weekends. Every week, I rent DVDs in video rental shop. I like watching movies, so tonight I'll watch these. Although I have no plan this weekends, I have many plans what I should do! Haha :D

Next week, on 15th, I'm going to go music concert with my friend. Do you know Sing, Harlem, Sing? American will come to Kumamoto to hold their concert. This kind of music are gospel, black music, and so on. I like this kind of music since I watched SISTER ACT in my childhood. So I'm very looking forward to listening their songs. It's very powerful and awesome! Please come Wednesday sooner!!

ONE-WAY TICKET

I read this book, ONE-WAY TICKET SHORT STORIES. Have you ever read it? This is stories happened in the train. There are three stories in the book. These are strange stories little bit. But it's very interesting. When I read the book, I had fun very much.

One story, which The Girl with Green Eyes is about woman and man's story. One woman got on the train with her husband. She with green eyes is so quiet girl. On the other hand, her husband like talking with strange. When they were in a carriage, the husband talked with a man in the brown hat all time. It's a boring for her. She doesn't like talking, so she was little angry with them. And in the carriage, other four people were in. A mother, her two boy and girl children and tall man. The tall man sat down in front of her. He was also quiet guy. She was reading newspaper all time while two men was talking. She and he never talked each other. But what surprise... she and he got off the train togethrt. And her husband was surprised and angry. He thought why they got off together withougt talking. Sometimes, love need no talking, I thought.

I like this story the best in the book. Second story is unreasonable story, so I don't like it very much. If you are interested in the book, please read it!

Fall!

Fall is coming, so today's dinner was full of fall!

We ate chestnut with rice, Pacific saury and fried eggplant. In Japan, these are season foods. I like fall because I can eat a lot of yummy foods :) In this fall, I'm eating pears, peraimmons, grapes and so on!

Fall are season of sports, season of reading books and season of eating. To me, fall is... of course, sason of eating! But, I like to sport and reading books. But I'm enjoying season foods. Today's dinner was so yummy. Actually, my sister hadn't liked eggplant since her childhood, but today, she became to like it because fried eggplant was so yummy. We ate very mush until we were full.

Although today was holiday, I went to the school because I must have attended two 職業概論 classes. I took this class with my friends. In the class, we heard about working lecture. After about two years, I'll work. In Japan, there are many problems about working. To get jobs, we must take interview, and we must tell companies ourself. This was so hard to me. Telling about myself looks easy, but actually, it's very hard. So in the class, we must have interviewed each other. I interviewed my friend, Saki. She could tell me about herself. I could understand her, it was awesome! I worried about my future. But teacher said "sophomore have enough time, and you must not compare you and other people." So I noticed that I should like and know myself very much. In this class, I noticed one another thing what it's short time while I'm collage student. So I must enjoy my campus life! ... and I must study very much to my dream come true. This class was awesome.

Mona Lisa Smile

I watched this movie, Mona Lisa Smile. Have you ever watched it?
Julia Roberts and Kristin Dunst played in the movie. Recently I usually watch the movies what Kristin plays. I like her movies.
This movie was about women's collage, Wellesley College's story in '50s. Julia is a feminist teacher. In the time, women didn't work very much, women must have married and worked at home for their husbands and children. This Wellesley collage was the school for rich women who would marry rich men. At first, when Julia came there, many students were in trouble and they didn't like her, especially, Kristin Dunst. But Julia's class was so exciting, and she told her students about feminism through art. She was an art proffesor, so she taught them art by new viewpoint. So students became to like her and her class more and more. And they became to notice what women should be... except Kristin.

This is about Mona Lisa Smile story. In the movie, Julia played a strong-willed woman. Many people criticized her because she was a feminism. Of course, she was sad, but she didn't change her mind. I respect such her. If I was her, I couldn't stay in the collage. I might change my mind. She has the mind I don't have. She is one of women I'm respecting. This was nice movie!

I'll write about my favorite song, I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU. I think everyone know Stevie Wonder. When I was kid, although I didn't know Western music very much, I knew his songs. His songs are very popular in the world, so many people know him. I like this song very much. I like this melody, words, and his voice! This word is very simple. The most important thing in the song is saying I love you. He just called to say I love you. No New Year's day, no cereblate day, no first of spring, no song to sing, he just called to say I love you. This word is very straight. When I first listen this song, actually, I couldn't understand this word because I was a kid. But now when I listen this song, I think what a nice song! Saying I love you is very important thing to us. Of course, we should say it to family, to friends, to boy friend or girl friend, to your dog :D This song make you notice important things. So please listen this song!

Part-Time Job

I got a new part time job today! Yeah :D
I'll work at the restaurant in hot spring. This spa is close my house, so I can go there by bicycle. I'll bring foods and clear the table at dinner party. In Japan, We call 宴会(enkai) what people eat and drink with their friends or coworker. The spa thet I'll work has the place people can enkai. So it'll be busy at the end and start of the year because Japanese hold enkai very much.
It's first time that I work at restaurant. So I'm very looking forward to working, but I'm nervous little bit :( I'll do my best!
